This is a translucent, medium width material particularly suitable for tying ribbing of chironomid larvae and stillwater flies in general. Also usable as long fiber in streamer flies.
Superbly dyed in both natural & fluorescent shades - the material is an excellent covering for bodies, allowing to strengthen them and offering reflections and different shades depending on the material it is overlapped with. Try wrapping it over Mirage or holo' tinsel to boost the colour even more!
As the material is translucent, it is superb to wrap over a HD quill to change the colour - giving you a great range of colours to build bodies with. The material is very fine and you can also use it to add a hot head on your pattern instead of thread as you can whip finish with it!
