The gloss black Detachable Side Mount #8 from Weaver detaches and attaches in seconds, and just like the Weaver detachable top mounts, the bases themselves do not detach. Side mount brackets are available in a "high profile" in a standard or long length to accept a variety of scopes.
Note: Use only with side mount bracket. For Pump shotguns, all pumps except the Winchester 42 will have to be drilled and tapped.
