Mustang MA9211 Replacement Bobbin for Auto Inflate.
Bobbins are a replacement part for older Halkey Roberts-type automatic inflators. They dissolve when immersed in water and cause the CO2 cylinder to inflate the PFD.
Mustang recommends annual maintenance and inspection of your PFD. Bobbins should be replaced every three years for recreational use to avoid inadvertent inflation. With Commercial use, it is recommended that the bobbin be replaced more often, as per the company's own policy.
